PlastFluid 155
high Range Water Reducing and Slump reta ining Concrete Admixture
PlastFluid 155 acts by surface adsorption on the cement particles producing steric hindrance as well as electrostatic repulsion between the binder particles which results in higher dispersion, flow and retention.
Easier control during casting due to sufficient retention period and high early strength development, high water reduction (leading to high density and strength) even in double or triple blend mixes (e.g. cement, GGBS, and silica fume).
A low w/b ratio leads to very low water permeability and chloride migration, as well as high early strength and strength development, even with the use of low cement content mixes, which improves shrinkage and creep behaviour.
Excellent flow ability, resulting in minimal placing and compacting efforts.
It does not contain chloridesor or other steel corrosion-promoting ingredients so that it may be used for Reinforced and pre-stressed concrete construction.

Better, Faster, Cheaper

Description
- PlastFluid 155 is a New Generation Polyelectrolytes Based co-polymer based superplasticizer developed particularly for use in ready mixed concrete to give extended slump retention and high strength development of normal grade concrete mixes. PlastFluid 155 is suitable for use in concrete mixes incorporating pozzolanic materials such as GGBS, PFA and microsilica. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.
Advantages
- PlastFluid 155 acts by surface adsorption on the cement particles producing steric hindrance as well as electrostatic repulsion between the binder particles which results in higher dispersion, flow and retention.
PlastFluid 155 provides the following beneficial properties
Substantial improvement in workability without increased water
Low risk of segregation
Normal set without retardation (with in the dosage limit)
Improved density and surface finish
Improved water tightness
Excellent solution for continuous concrete casting of deep elements
so may be used for Reinforced and pre-stressed concrete construction

Dispensing
This is a ready-to-use admixture that should be added to the concrete as a separate component. For the best results, add it to the concrete mix immediately after the first 80% of the mixing water has been introduced—when all solids are properly wetted. Avoid adding the admixture directly to dry aggregates.

Recommended dosage
The recommended dosage ranges from 0.3% to 2. 0% by weight of the binder or 0.13% to 0.2% by weight of the total mix mass. However, the exact dosage may vary based on mix design, raw materials, climatic conditions, and specific concrete requirements. It is essential to conduct trial mixes to determine the optimal dosage for your application.
Concreting guidance
Follow standard best practices for concrete production and placement, adhering to relevant industry standards. Proper curing of fresh concrete is essential, especially in high temperatures, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
