ViscoFluid 2X HH
high Range Water Reducer / Superplasticiser
high water reduction high f inal density and strength properties Reduced shrinkage, creep, water permeability, etcImproved flowability, placing and compacting behaviourImproved surface finishIncreased early strength development Early removal of formwork Reduced curing Does not contain chloridesSuitable for use in Reinforced and pre-stressed concrete
Easier to control during casting due to sufficient retention period and high early strength development
Extremely high water reduction (resulting in high density and strength) even in double or triple blend mixes(e.g. cement, GGBS, and silica fume)
A low w/b ratio leads to very low water permeability and chloride migration.
Increased high early strength and strength development even with the use of low cement content mixes
Improved shrinkage and creep behavior
Excellent flow ability resulting in minimal placing and compacting efforts, leading to much denser concrete
It does not contain chlorides or other steel corrosion-promoting ingredients; therefore, it may be used for Reinforced and pre-stressed concrete construction.

Better, Faster, Cheaper

Description
- ViscoFluid 2X HH is a liquid admixture for concrete and mortar which is used as high range water reducer or superplasticiser. ViscoFluid 2X HH is designed to work on a combination of electrostatic adsorption and steric repulsion effectsallowing solid particles to be effectively dispersed. There fore a high level of fluidity and plasticising can be reached with a high water reduction which providesmany advantages.
Suitable for use in tropical and hot climatic conditions.
Advantages
- high water reduction high f inal density and strength properties Reduced shrinkage, creep, water permeability, etcImproved flowability, placing and compacting behaviourImproved surface finishIncreased early strength development Early removal of formwork Reduced curing Does not contain chloridesSuitable for use in Reinforced and pre-stressed concrete
Powerful plasticising action Production of workable concrete at low w/b ratio Improved shrinkage and creep characteristics Excellent flowability resulting in minimal placing and compacting efforts Slower rate of carbonation ingress Cost-effective, structurally economic higher ultimate strengths allows greater flexibility for engineers to design Reduced surface defects so improving aesthetic appearance

Dispensing
This is a ready-to-use admixture that should be added to the concrete as a separate component. For the best results, add it to the concrete mix immediately after the first 80% of the mixing water has been introduced—when all solids are properly wetted. Avoid adding the admixture directly to dry aggregates.

Recommended dosage
The recommended dosage ranges from 0.3% to 2. 0% by weight of the binder or 0.13% to 0.2% by weight of the total mix mass. However, the exact dosage may vary based on mix design, raw materials, climatic conditions, and specific concrete requirements. It is essential to conduct trial mixes to determine the optimal dosage for your application.
Concreting guidance
Follow standard best practices for concrete production and placement, adhering to relevant industry standards. Proper curing of fresh concrete is essential, especially in high temperatures, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
