ViscoFluid ARE 456
Water reducing and retarding superplasticizing admixture for precast concrete
ViscoFluid ARE 456 offer the following benefits for the precast concrete industry:
Production of highly flowable, robust, self-compacting concrete with a low water-cement ratio.
Enhanced robustness and consistency in concrete quality with low stickiness.
Elimination of heat curing
Improved surface appearance. Durable precast concrete elements as per EN 206-1.
Optimization of the curing cycles by reducing curing time or curing temperature. Increased productivity.
ViscoFluid ARE 456 may be used in combination with Stabilizer.
The technology produces advanced self-compacting concrete without the aid of vibration.
For economic, ecological and ergonomic ready-mix concrete production.

Better, Faster, Cheaper

Description
- ViscoFluid ARE 456 consists of a range of innovative superplasticisers based on newly developed New Generation Polyelectrolytes Based co-polymer. The particular molecular configuration of ViscoFluid ARE 456 accelerates the cement hydration by exposing increased surface of the cement grains to react with water. Asa result, it is possible to obta in earlier development of the heat of hydration, rapid development of the hydration products and, as a consequence, higher strengths at very early age. The polymer structure of ViscoFluid ARE 456 is specially designed to improve the rheology of precast concrete, making it very flowable and low viscous even at very low water/cement ratios, without increasing stickiness. Robustness is a distinctive feature of the precast concrete produced with ViscoFluid ARE 456.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Dispensing
This is a ready-to-use admixture that should be added to the concrete as a separate component. For the best results, add it to the concrete mix immediately after the first 80% of the mixing water has been introduced—when all solids are properly wetted. Avoid adding the admixture directly to dry aggregates.

Recommended dosage
The recommended dosage ranges from 0.3% to 2. 0% by weight of the binder or 0.13% to 0.2% by weight of the total mix mass. However, the exact dosage may vary based on mix design, raw materials, climatic conditions, and specific concrete requirements. It is essential to conduct trial mixes to determine the optimal dosage for your application.
Concreting guidance
Follow standard best practices for concrete production and placement, adhering to relevant industry standards. Proper curing of fresh concrete is essential, especially in high temperatures, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
