- ViscoFluid LL 3171 innovative generation superplasticizer based on polycarboxylic polymers and is specially engineered for ready-mix and precast concrete to achieve extended workability retention without affecting the early strength of the concrete. ViscoFluid LL 3171 is differentiated from conventional superplasticizer, such as those based on sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde condensate. ViscoFluid LL 3171 is based on unique carboxylic with long lateral chains. This significantly improves cement dispersion. At the start of the mixing process, the same electrostatic dispersion occurs, but the presence of the lateral chains, l inked to the polymer backbone, generatesa steric hindrance , which stabilises the cement particles' capacity to separate and disperse. This mechanism provides flowable concrete with greatly reduced water dem and.
