ViscoFluid RR 2XX
high range water reducing / superplasticizing admixture for concrete
ViscoFluid RR 2XX acts by surface absorption on the cement particles producing steric hindrance as well as electrostatic repulsion between cement particles which results in higher dispersion, flow and retention. ViscoFluid RR 2XX provides the following beneficial properties:
Powerful plasticising action Production of workable concrete at low w/b ratio Improved shrinkage and creep characteristics
Excellent flowability resulting in minimal placing and compacting efforts Slower rate of carbonation ingress
Cost-effective, structurally economic, and higher ultimate strengths allow greater flexibility for engineers to design
Reduced surface defects, improving aesthetic appearance
Durable concrete
Does not contain chloridesor or other steel corrosion-promoting ingredients

Better, Faster, Cheaper

Description
- ViscoFluid RR 2XX is a New Generation Polyelectrolytes Based co-polymer based superplasticizer developed particularly for use in ready mixed concrete to give extended slump retention and high strength development of normal grade concrete mixes. ViscoFluid RR 2XX is suitable for use in concrete mixes incorporating pozzolanic materials such as GGBS, PFA and microsilica. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Dispensing
This is a ready-to-use admixture that should be added to the concrete as a separate component. For the best results, add it to the concrete mix immediately after the first 80% of the mixing water has been introduced—when all solids are properly wetted. Avoid adding the admixture directly to dry aggregates.

Recommended dosage
The recommended dosage ranges from 0.3% to 2. 0% by weight of the binder or 0.13% to 0.2% by weight of the total mix mass. However, the exact dosage may vary based on mix design, raw materials, climatic conditions, and specific concrete requirements. It is essential to conduct trial mixes to determine the optimal dosage for your application.
Concreting guidance
Follow standard best practices for concrete production and placement, adhering to relevant industry standards. Proper curing of fresh concrete is essential, especially in high temperatures, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
